Potential Death for the SL
The right fender would probably fly off if I didn't have them "widebodied"
I do hope my insurance company total it otherwise I would just change the front end to the facelift SL63...
Renting the w204 C300 is so expensive. 460 a week. I didn't get the rental coverage

I'm willing to bet there is another thread on this, but WHAT HAPPENED?
The search function was giving me fits, only searching through August 09 or something like that.
Either way, sorry to here about your SL.

This happened last week
It was rainning dark at night a SUV tried to make a right onto the main street. He/she couldnt stop all the way as I was passing. He/she hit my right rear quarter panel so my car spun to the right and hit the side walk. He/she took off and I couldn't chase because my car wasn't drivable anymore.

Sorry to hear about that, glad you did not get hurt.
Does that mean that the silver E55 in your newest thread "Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler" is your new ride??? If so, welcome to the E55

Hey, I know that parking lot! I think I have seen your SL around there before... sorry about that man! nice wheel, hope your insurance covers it. Wife's E500 got hit, didn't look bad but incurred over $20000 in cost, not enough to total. If the estimate for you car is around $30 or more, might be close to market value, they may total it. The wheel is broken from the axle? or just the steering arms? Make sure they tow to dealer to get OEM parts to fix the car. We were at House of Imports. They were OK. I have my tuner who does the same thing and can work with you on that kind of stuff if you are interested, PM me.

Wow you noticed? nice
They were rubbing like crazy so I had to do it. I have no idea how my body shop did it. They are called K&W autoBody in Walnut CA. They do a bunch of SEMA cars so they are very good.
I paid 1 g for the fenders, repaint, and re-clearcoat the hood.
thanks, mikesSL55fla!

Fenders dent pretty easily. Is there any sort of mark if you see it up close?
My first thought on seeing the pics (before reading the text) was that a lower ball joint gave out.
What needs to be replaced other than the wheel and front right suspension? I'm not seeing anything close to a totaled car here.
