'09 SL550; sold: '05 SL500
iPod and Bluetooth
I've searched this site and haven't found any recent experiences on using a Bluetooth module with an iPod and how well it plays through the COMAND system. Any thoughts?

Does you car come with phone system? If so you can just buy the bluetooth module and use it. For iPod you can use the aux in from you glove box.

starting 2005, there is no more AUX in the glovebox unfortunately

Yes, it has a Bluetooth set up for the phone which works great (other than it doesn't allow a full download of my BB's contact list). Is the Bluetooth module a dealer item or after market?

It's a MB part but you can find them on eBay pretty easily.
