2006 SL550 Converted To 2010 SL65 AMG!!
This was at a transmission shop today get a rebuilt transmission. Its a 2006 SL550 with a 2010 SL65 AMG Conversion. I think it looks pretty damn slick. I normally don't like the newer front end, but this car was beautiful.

I think the work looks very high-end and high quality.
However, I also think that the owner of this car is a "poser" in my book, especially with the front fender badging indicating an engine that is not actually in this car.

I wish it was 'my' car. It was just a car I saw yesterday at a transmission shop. At first I thought it was a new Mercedes and I couldn't figure out why it wasn't at the dealer for the repair. I had to ask the shop owner about the car, and he told me the story.
The detail work was amazing. However I do agree about the fender badging. I would have left them off. Still I think the car looked very clean.

wow this car looks very familiar it actually my cousins car in sacramento what a dick he told me it was an 09 not a 06 with a the 09 front and rear end. He's gonna hear this about this next time i talk to him

Looks tight! I like new face lifted model... But I don't think that it is worth to invest lots of money in rebuilding it. Of course, if he decided to do so, just congrats. Car looks amazing!

HELLO TO THE HATERZ!!!!
Funny to find that my car ends up on the forums and to find out about it all the way from OHIO.... Just to inform all. My car is a 2006 SL55....Im working on changing the side badges to 5.5 instead of the 6.3... the side panel comes from the dealer with the 6.3 badge..but i realy dont care what the haterz think. the only thing I know is im driving a bad *** car!!!!! thanks for all the compliments....

Just keep that 6.3 on it. It comes with the fener. why do you have to care about what other people says. like your car and looks sick. Can you PM. how much you spend on convert project.

Thanks, this is nothing new, Haterz will be Haterz, I actually want to put the 55 badges on so I can represent my soon to be 600hp 5.5 supercharged engine. lol..... they are going to look oem.
