i would think the same thing, but if he paid with a credit card, then he just needs to dispute the charge.
cash, check or wire would be a different story.

Can you be more specific on what doesn't fit? My Revozport rear diffuser and undertray fit...it took some work (since the instructions weren't the best) from the tech @ the tuner house I use but it fits great for me...plus he is a great installer of parts (i.e. he makes it work just like it should).

Those who want to upgrade the rear bumper with SL63/diffuser better buy the parts in the US to avoid problems in the future.
BTW: more to come!

Please elaborate. I'm considering the Revozport bumper/diffuser combo as well. I know you just purchased it a little while back. What are your issues?Originally Posted by Rick SL55

Carrier/shipping company is responsible for the damage, no matter how many FRAGILE decals were posted in the box, employees didn't care about it. This show's also shipping box needs to be stronger & reinforced to avoid damage. I just spend on parts, shipping, broker/carrier/taxes fees almost $2,000- for what?, a destroy/crushed bumper.
Now have to fill a lots a paper, submit evidence of payment, pictures... to the carrier insurance company for reimbursment - partial or complete. Forgot to tell you it could take between 1-3 months to get my money back, probably not all the money!
I did email pictures & info to Ken and Sum from Revozport and they will also submit a claim to the carrier insurance and will send me back once they pay another bumper/diffuser, however I will have to pay again broker/carrier/taxes fees-over $375.
That's my story and would recommend to better get the parts locally in the US near where you live.

Wow...that definately sucks! Luckily ordering the OEM SL63 bumper from my local dealer saved me from that nightmare.Originally Posted by Rick SL55

Looks like the UPS truck drove over the box, then hooked it to the rear axle and dragged it to your house. What a nightmare.

Sorry to see all the trouble Rick.
I have browsed their web site to order part, but luckily I decided to search around a bit before ordering. They appear to have a bad name across multiple brands. A quick web search on other car brand forums showed multiple complaints on this company!

That crushed box is just ridiculous .... its obviously not being handled with care.
SL63, did you email Ken for the refund?

I purchased a carbon fiber SL63 rear deck lid spoiler for my SL55 from Revozport, after getting a price quote from the dealer on an OEM piece (the dealer quoted somewhere around $2,800.00!!!).
The quality of the Revozport looked to be outstanding. The problem is that it did not fit 100% correctly. The curvature of the piece was a bit off on the outer edges.
I contacted Ken at Revozport. He was very responsive. He informed me that he would remake the part, using a vacuum process to get the curvature of the carbon fiber right. The problem is that the initial piece was made in a similar process to the polyurethane spoiler, which is flexible, therefore has more tolerance.
Anyhow, a few weeks later I received another carbon fiber spoiler, and it fit perfectly. It was installed by a Mercedes-Benz AMG tech that works at our local dealership outside of Chicago. He has installed the genuine AMG part before, and he commented that the Revozport part fit just as well as the AMP part.
I am sure Revozport will stand behind their product. Ken realizes that his name is all over this forum, and he does not want the bad press.
The shipping damage is another issue. We all take that risk when ordering products that will be mailed or shipped...no matter where they are coming from.

This is good news. We really need as many good reliable vendors as we can, those that will stand behind their product.Originally Posted by AMG Driver

The pictures of the crushed box did not give me the impression of proper packaging. "Fragile" stickers does not protect the box. I agree that shipping issues can be caused by the carrier, but proper protective packaging is a big part of items arriving safely from across the globe. I've done it multiple times, and I'd rather pay the extra cost to pack properly, since trying to collecting the insurance due to damage is a huge headache in itself. I may even get the insurance just to have my belt and suspenders too.

My Revozport diffuser was packaged really well...based on those pictures though I don't think any amount of packing would have protected it unless the exterior box was made of plastic rather than card board.Originally Posted by Weißes SL500

AMGfan, since you have had a personal experience with them, and are satisfied with the packaging, then the problem likely was in the shipping itself. I stand corrected.Originally Posted by AMGfan

SL63, hope you got a satisfactory resolution to the problem with your crushed diffuser.

I got the CF spoiler and Diffuser with Undertray from Revosport. All parts arrived in perfect shape.
There was an issue with delayed shipping but that was resolved to my satisfaction and the parts arrived shortly afterwards.
I have not had a chance to put on the parts yet so can no speak to fitment issues but upon brief inspection the spoiler at least seems to match up correctly.
