Oil change on 500...
Hey guys,
sorry this might be a stupid question but I have tried search and only found info on the 55AMG
on the 2005 SL500, is there a drain plug where you can drain the oil at any garage ? Also heard there might be 2 drainplugs? is that true or?
thanks
Also, if anyone can can let me know the proper amount of oil to putin after a oilchange!
thanks

-7.9 quarts of 0w-40 mobil 1
-only one drain plug located behind the front axle
-After a full drain put in 7 quarts then let it run for a few minutes... after, drive onto a level service and check your oil level via the dash. If the engine level is ok then just hold off for a while on that last quart. ( Try not to overfill, especially if you live in a hot climate and do a lot of highway driving.)
