its not that people don't answer new posts, but if its been asked SEVERAL times and is here and easily found by a search, most people dont want to waiste their time responding if the person asking cant take the time to do a search first.
almost every question RE: mods, common issues(LOTS!), wheels size, stereos, where to get taillights(parts.com), extended warranties(INDS) etc have been answered several times..I know I have looked and got answers and used the info on the site. Everyday more and more people get these cars as they are so cheap now and ask the same questions over and over. How about some NEW input instead. g/l with yr searches..all the info is here. Im lucky as I work nights and have lots of spare time on computer.

Yes, it's relatively empty here if you're used to Honda or Mazda forums, but it's simply a reflection of the number of these cars on the road. Also it's the reflection of the characteristics of the brand/model itself; for example Carrera or Elise owners are for the most part anthusiasts and so their forums would be busier, or even within the same brand: Civic forum is much busier than Oddysey's.
In any case, there are a lot of helpful members here who would point you in the right direction if you have questions.
