TRUNK RELEASE PROBLEM
Have a problem with my trunk release, today the trunk will not open by pressing either the trunk release button in the car or the lever on the trunk lid. When I press the lever on the trunk lid I hear a slight noise sounds like a pump. I am able to open it with the key and when it is open I hear a noise coming from inside the plastic area of the trunk lid by where the latch to the trunk is. The trunk closes fine.
Anyone experience this or have any ideas??

Not even door switch would work, nothing except metal key
Had the same thing happen to me. called Robert ,said he could get to me in a week. Four days later it started working, been fine ever since.Guess you can try disconnecting rear battery for 5 minutes that seems to fix so many of the members problems but I didnt have to do that and still havent so far.Afraid something might not reset maybe I dont know.Needless to say ,I canceled my appoint.
