Brake experts help!
Hello all. i Changed front and rear rotors + pads today and i am running into an issue.
When I started the car up after installing the new equipment I got a warning that ESP was not on and to consult user manual. Then Immediately after i get the Red dash with message STOP Brake Malfunction blah blah blah.
The only thing that i did wrong was take apart the driver side caliper and the fluid that was in there came out. I'm assuming this is what is causing the error... When i took it for a quick drive around my block all of the other rotors showed that the calipers had pressed against them except for the front drivers side.
I checked the brake fluid reservoir and it is full, so how do i get the fluid back into the driver side caliper? I also hear the sbc system when i first press the brake but there is a slight hissing sound after it makes its initial pump... Could that be air in the line?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

ok so, digging through this site all afternoon i found a thread in the E class forums that talks about a specific Battery reconnect Procedure for those vehicles. From what i understood you need to have certain electrical components running after reconnecting the main and aux batteries for at least two minutes before starting the car.
Does anyone know if this procedure needs to be followed on the SL as well? They brought up some of the dashboard errors that I have currently

Hello:
I have a 04 SL500 and that happend to my car and I took it to the dealer and the
brake master cylinder went bad. Mercedes issue a service campain for all the 230 vehicles and you can take yours into the dealer and they will replace the master cylinder for free no matter the miles or the year.
I hope this helps
