Where is the best place to buy Akebono pads & drilled rear rotors ?.
Hi all
My 2003 SL500 will require some new rear rotors (discs) & pads soon and i thought i may aswell use the opportunity to fit some Akebono ceramic pads front & rear whilst im on, where is the best place to get the pad set ?.
eBay seems to have them but shipping to the UK is high and im not sure of price comparison to other places in the US, does anyone know a shop that an ship for reasonable cost ?. I dont know of anywhere in Europe , are these US brand pads ?
I also wanted to fit drilled rear rotors so they appear the same as the front but without spending daft amounts of ££££ (its only a 500 so doesnt require mega stopping power at huge expense) does anyone know of a top quality drilled rear rotor product for the R230 ?.
Im told SL55 rear rotors dont go on unless AMG calipers are fitted
