Can 20" wheels fit on 2003 SL

Can 20" rims for on the 2003 SL 500? If so, what size rims and tires will fit without having to roll the fenders?

Yes 20's can fit on the SL500. It really depends on the offset that you get, but you can fix 20x9 and 20x10 with 255/35/20 and 285/30/20 tires

Check my pictures, my SL500 has 20" HRE wheels

They look good, but.

The rears could be 1/2 to an inch wider, or drop the back a fraction. The rear guards just aren't filled out enough.

I think that size is perfect. Any wider in the rear may cause problems. I never heard of anyone running greater than 10" in the rear or greater that 285 width tires on 20" rims.

I went with a conversative offset. That's why you see the gap between the wheel and fender. I lowered the car and didn't want to deal with rubbing. There is also room front & rear for a BBK.

The rear lip is 3 inches. Personally, i think anything over 3 just looks retarded.

Those wheels look as if they would rub. That's a show car and most of the time the show cars are set up for looks and not ever day driving.

BTW: That is a nice car. Do you have any more pictures or a link where I can view more pictures of the car?

Okay, comparing SHOW cars with a regular owner's car is real smart
