SL/R230: Found a PERFECT car EXCEPT.....

Found a great 2006 SL500 that's perfect except one important area to me. The leather seats. The charcoal seat is excessively shiney and lots of the typical aged cracking on the bolster and seating area where the thigh is. Perforation is fine (well, it's acceptable).
Is there an OEM supplier of the leather available so I can make this look brand new. Someone told me you can't get just the leather , you have to get the entire seat, frame, foam, electronics - that sounds crazy to me.
Is there an exact replica supplier. The leather is ruining the look of the car because everything else around it is so perfect. How it got to this condition, I have no idea.
Hope there is an option to get new leather on these seats - or to get them permanently corrected (heard painting looks okay until weeks, months down the road then it's a mess). Don't want patch work, want it right.
Thanks!

There is a product called Leatherique, that is brilliant at restoring leather. However, I have found that if some of the stuff you can see is sub par... what about the stuff you can't?

When I bought my CLK, the MB dealership offered to replace the leather from the production line with local leather which was much better quality at no extra cost. So doubt they'd have to replace the entire seat. Agreed, sounds crazy!

Leatherique....
Dino,
My leather is in great shape except some scuffs on the bolster from the prior owner who was likely a bit heavy. The scuffs are just where the color is scuffed off. Will this product correct this? Can you recommend something that can?
