Will these fit for SL500?
Hi, just wondering if these rim specs will fit for my 2003 SL500?
Front: 20X9" ET40
Rear: 20X10" ET45
Bolt Pattern: 5x112
Also .. Does ET = offset?

Yes that is the offset, but I think the offset you need is more like in the 20s to 30s. Ask luke with Tire Rack he is helpful...
By the way, these will fit and for sale... Tires very good.

Those offsets are high for 9" fronts and 10" rears on an R230. You'd be at risk for rubbing on the inner fender. Probably not worth buying unless you can do a test fit first.

I believe you would be "good-to-go" with those offsets on your 9" front and 10" rear wheels. My "guess" is at 30mm and 35mm they'll fit without rubbing or other issues.
The OEM 10 spoke 8.5" front has an ET of 35mm and the rear 9.5" an ET of 40mm so this is what makes me think you'll be fine at 30 and 35. (I just went into my garage and confirmed this.)
My OEM AMG 18" have less offset. The 8.5 front has an ET of 30 and the rear 9.5 of 33
As you know the lower the offset the more it pushes the wheel "out". I do agree with the previous posters that a little lower may be better but I believe the 30 and 35, while perhaps close, would fit.
Carlsson's website for their 20" wheels suggests 24mm offset for the 8.5" front and 23mm for their 10.5 rear.
