Question 2004 SL600...anyway to get shift paddles?

Has it been solved yet? I see SL55s now have paddle options. Just wondering. Thanks!

RE: Shifter Paddles

I was very close to buying an 04, the paddles and Navi changes steered me towards 1 year newer. I don't know whether the paddles can be retrofitted.

Hopefully someone here knows.

I'd love to know what approach you took! I already have a 'typical' reworked factory wheel with paddles on it and what looks like a harmonica inside it (relay of some sort)? I would love to have shifting!

if you figure out a good way to do the retro-fit and can either provide part numbers or sell the components needed, pm me. I had the option to get either an 04 sport with 52k or an 05 non sport but with dist and pano and 38k and got the 05, but I want the shift buttons
