SL500 Battery drains overnight
I have an SL500 and I replaced the 2 batteries but when I get in the car in the morning many functions do not work . After driving it for 10 to 15 minutes everything works but no matter how long I drive it , the next day the dashboard says "temporary not available" and sometimes it has the red brake light on that says "diminished brake function, please start engine".. It seems like something is draining the battery overnight.

I looked at the car again today and after I turn it off the Mercedes benz symbol comes on every 2 minutes on the main screen in the dash, I can hear a noise in the trunk and it is the Navigation DVD turning on and off. That is probably why the battery drains. Anyone have a problem like this?

I worked on the car a bit last night and concluded that the COMMAND screen rotates on and off every few minutes, it also turns on the Nav DVD in the trunk, I believe this is what is draining my battery.. Has anyone had this problem and any ideas what to do about it? I will next try to pull fuses to see what is causing the drain..
