Very nice mustard.. Are you planning on smoking your rear lights ala SL55? I think it would look very nice on Jasper Blue.

Just curious, about how much does that car cost in US dollars? It would be nice to have the looks with less price (even though that means less performance).

That would be a MBUSA decision because the cars there are cheaper than in Europe. The SL350 here is about the same as you pay for an SL500 in the US, but speced the same about $18,000 cheaper than an SL500 here.
I'm not sure you lose too much performance - mid-range probably and a bit of torque, but I have to say the car is pleasingly quick on cross country runs, possibly because it is lighter, appears to be better balanced, and can be hustled through bends more quickly than the 500.
Do agree it is a great looking car .

Yeah, I know they don't sell them ehre. They used to sell the SL320 until about 97 I believe. It is a great looking car. Guess they figure we've all got more money over here. Things are going in the direction of hp wars anyway. What can ya do!
