How do I remove side marker lense?
I ordered smoked lenses and see how the little flex clip works. I have it popped out from the bumper strip but something is still holding it and preventing me from pulling it out far enough to see what it is.
I'm pretty sure its the wiring to the bulb. How do I unplug it? I've looked down through the open hood and the headlight prevents me from seeing what it is on both sides.
Help!

I popped out the driver side marker and it let the lense come out about a quarter inch further than the passenger side did. The problem is the wire to the bulb has hardly any slack ay all and it was a fight to get them disconnected, do the swap and reconnect.
The smoked lenses look so much better than the orange stock ones but I'd have to think twice about doing it again (unless I was planning on removing the front wheels and inner fenders to allow better access).
Just my 2 pennies...

From Late: "You can just remove the first splash guard under the front bumper cover and you will have full access to the connection from underneath."
Now you tell me! Your name sure fits!!!
I'll take a pic when I get a chance (they do look much nicer)...
