How to adjust headlights?
My lowbeam lights are a little too low and I'd like to raise them. I see a single adjustment rod over both headlights and was wondering if that is it?
I guess there's no left to right adjustment?
My high beams are perfect and I don't want to touch them if possible.
Anyone done this yet?

I was wondering the same exact thing. I know on my w204 there is a white hex adjustement for up and down over each headlight, but no adjustment for left and right. However, this is on halogen lights and a completely different model. I have not had the chance to look under the hood of my father's r230, but he asked if I could adjust his too. I would rather learn how to do it before just poking around.
I know on the w204, when you have the xenon lights the adjustment is on the rear suspension (leveler) and you adjust that to aim the headlights. But the r230 uses older technology and it is possible that it doesn't use that? Have you figured it out yet or simply tried adjusting what you have found?
Also, when you adjust the low beams, it doesn't affect the high beams, to my knowledge the high beams can't be adjusted and are just a full mode with no digital block cut-off.

No, I haven't done anything yet. I'm waiting on some advice...
Surely someone knows how to do this right on a 2003-06 SL 500?
