SL/R230: rear window problem

rear window problem
I have an 05 sl500. The drive side rear window occasionally does not go up all the way when the door is closed. This is a real pain because if you don't notice it and it rains the interior gets wet.
Any body seen this or know what is the cause/fix?

Window problem
You have to check that you have pulled the window switch up an extra time.
When I closed the door I also noticed that it didn't go up.
I thought something was wrong, but I had forgot to pull the switch up a second time after I had opened the window a little.
And if the rear window is not completely up after you close the door, It wont go back and close after you open the door.

It also won't go up fully if it is out of sync.
If you disconnect or the consumer battery loses all power, you have to sync the windows again by pulling up on the buttons for a second.
You may want to try that.
