I'm still looking for R230 rear shelf luggage

Unfortunately, I believed the MBUSA Lifestyles service rep when she told me that they were just out of stock and would have more later. After two years I'm awake and realize the only way I'm going to get one is to ask here. I've got a 2007 SL and would like to buy the luggage in either new or pristine but used condition and I'm willing to pay for it (not a great way to start negotiations, but I'm serious).

parts.com has them listed under "Mercedes-Benz Accessories", part number 66954241, for $360 brand new (MSRP is $450, but dealer always marks it up).

Unfortunately, I just got an email back from parts.com telling me that it has been discontinued and they won't be receiving any more. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond.

So, I guess the bottom line is that I'm still looking. Anyone else have a source or willing to part with one?

Thanks tiggerfink, but I called the Lifestyles number just one last time this morning and they confirmed that the Rear Shelf Bag has been discontinued.

So, yes, I am still looking and willing to pay well for a new one or a pristine used one.
