SL/R230: seat adjustment

seat adjustment
i understand that the driver's seat should automatically go back when engine is turned off and door is opened. i have set the dashboard setting to activate steering wheel and seat. only the wheel goes up.i took it in for repair and they claimed they fixed it. not so. now they say it only works when seat is up far enough.i only have it back half way.it would be a lot easier to get in and out of car if seat went way back. any advice?

Let's say if it is already 3/4 way back by memory, it will not move further.
The good thing is that the MB software allows you to change all of these parameters (have seen the screen, I believe there were 3 or 4 adjustment areas). You should probably work with the technician so that he can adjust it on the PC while you are there and try it out.
