ipod adaptor
mobridge and dice both make an ipod interface that works with the fiber optic comand system. they replace the six cd changer in the box behind the drivers seat. although i did have it installed professionally, i believe that it is totally plug n play. just some configuration settings. all steering wheel controls work and it comes up as the CD player on the comand system. pretty nice device - although a little pricey.

The mObridge is $499 and the iTronic is $549 - the main difference (besides software), is the iTronic is for the do it yourselfer and includes ALL items necessary for installation. The mObridge is designed for the installer to do (who would have some of the items needed on hand already).

Cartronics,

I like your itronic system on your site. Can you post pictures on the install in the area of the cd changer behind the driver seat?

Can an iphone be adapted like your ipod module?

Cartronics, this may be out of the spectrum of the thread, but here goes. Is there any product out there that will allow you to display let's say Google maps from your iphone on the screen?

I do it everyday (MotionX maps). It is our Video In Motion module. That combined with some audio products (if necessary), gives you video playback, GPS turn by turn, etc.
