Several MB's Superperformance MK III Cobra
What are the weights on the 63 wheels? They are probably quite heavy. The unsprung weight is going to make difference. As far as the engine you will be limited in increasing performance. Different pulleys, different exhaust, etc. Are going to give you minimal increases. Remember you are moving a heavy car and you are limited.
Not to be a smart a.. Buy an SL 55.

yea like lkirchner said
any of the amgs will have tons better performance
but realistically there is not alot of options to make it faster
lighter wheels will help with rotating mass
check out some of the forum vendors i know that some make an exhaust system which will definitely open up a few horsepower
also search the forum theres a way to get throttle response back. the sl will learn your driving style and as u drive it normally it decreases throttle response to help with overall smoothness and fuel economy.
other than that the 500 isnt know to be a rocket....sorry
