purchase questions - electronics
Hi all, new member here and I apologize in advance if I'm search-impaired but I couldn't find much on this other than a LOT of threads discussing problems. I recently drove an SL550 and was very impressed, much more than I thought I would be coming from the Porsche world. A powerful, relaxed, luxurious convertible with a place to put my golf clubs, is sounding really good. However after going over a couple CPO cars, there sure are a lot of electronic issues/replacements that are happening.
If I'm looking at a car that comes from the northeast where the dealer has done a lot of electronic work for the CPO, should I be concerned? My biggest worry is the electric brakes. Is there a year where those were changed or fixed, or years I should avoid? Thanks in advance.
