Going to be starting a new build and might have a 2003 sl 500 engine and transmission left over with about 75k miles one it.

Does anyone know what it could be worth on the used parts market? I saw a few 03+ 500 sl motors on ebay for about 6500 but do they really sell for that much?

Any input would be much appreciated.
