SL/R230: Top wont fully close - windows wont lock

Top wont fully close - windows wont lock
Got a problem with my top today. I opens and closes, but I can't get the windows to close fully. When I close the top everything is closed, but the windows wont go all the way up. The motor for the top just keep running untill I let go of the switch and nothing happens. The windows stays in the position like when you open the doors.

No, no battery problems. Both batteries are ok. I can only sync the windows with the top down. The windows sync do not respond with the top up.

Visited the dealer today. They did not find what causes it. Star did not report any errors. So I guess I'm stuck with top down. Not a great idea when you live in a country where it's raining most of the time

Did you ever figure out what the problem with the windows was? I had the same issue on my car when I pulled my mirrors off along with some other pieces from under the hood. When I went to close the top it closed fine and windows went up, however when I shut the door the windows would not come together. I think that simply disconnecting the rear battery for about 30 seconds when I install my parts back should do the trick. Not exacly sure what caused this but it must be something with the things I have done.
