satellite Radio in 2006 Sl500

I just purchased a 2006 SL500 with 10,00 miles. I love the car, but it does not have satellite radio. Can I add it to this car??

Does your SL have a "bump" antenna located on top of the trunk lid? If yes, then your radio should be capable of sat radio reception. If you do not have the bump antenna, your COMAND radio may be sat radio capable, but need to have a sat radio antenna installed. Do a search on this SL forum, and other forums in general, for satellite radio - there's a lot of info available. Some SL owners have installed a sat radio antenna under the louvers on the hood of the car.
My USA spec 06 SL500 came with a no cost Sirius (or maybe it was XM) sat radio option and the bump antenna. The sat radio feature is part of the COMAND unit, and is activated by pushing the SAT button.
