I know there a few threads on here about removing the rear mufflers...

I have just bought a set of tips which I got custom made to follow the curve of the bumper they are a slightly oval shaped larger than stock very stylish

Ok Im not sure to just take the mufflers out and put a straight pipe then the tips or should I add a glass pipe then the tips? what the benefit of a glass pipe or is it ok without?

I will be leaving in 2nd and 1st cats in place only want to remove the muffler.
