SL/R230: Window not going up

Window not going up
Couldn't find anything on the forums so here goes:
The left rear window does not go all the way up if it goes down. When it comes up, there's a small space between the front and rear windows. I have to pull it up the remaining inch or so. Is this a simple fix or do I have to take it in?

You have to pull and hold the up button again, after you have raised the main window.
That works with my car. I had the same problem after I took off the battery in the trunk.
Just try it a couple of seconds, it should work.

yep! This applies to all benz cars, especially after the battery has been pulled and replaced

Well, I don't know what I did but it worked. As you suggested, I did that previously but the rear would stay about an inch from complete closure. For some reason, it decided to close all the way today.
