I finally recorded it after 3 years. I did not rev it that loud because I live in a neighborhood with older people but you can at least hear me start the car. I am also selling the car for 23k OBO. It's a 2003 SL500. I have installed all new struts(ABC Hydraulic) Replaced the support on the convertible. Aluminum shift lever. Upgraded AMG Front Brake system. Braubus Steering wheel. Matte white vinyl wrap, carbon fiber lip and tail.

I sold my 65 and bought the 67 with that money. I bought everything including all the eleanore parts but just haven't been able to come up with money to do the body work. I'm too broke during times like these. And it's a coupe 289 not a fast back. Once I get it started I'll post pics up. But you got to love them old school mustangs

Do you guys recommend fitting and additional silencer once you take the muffler out? Or shall I be brave and just do straight pipes and tips?

Not sure how it would sound with just a straight pipe and muffler deleted....anyone got any vids? (SL500)

It will be too loud. I don't think it will sound nice without a muffler

If you are interested in the older mustangs. I am thinking about selling my mustang. I put in close to 14k on the car, but I might be willing to take 5000 for it just to move it. I have ALOT of parts for it all new.
