SL/R230: bra???
bra???
I just returned from a 6 day, 1500 mile trip with a huge rock ding on the front of the hood (also, one of the fog lenses was broken out). Has anyone seen an SL with a bra? Any thoughts? My SL is black. Other than the ding the trip was great...the last day 540 miles with the top down.
Haven't seen a bra but at least your car is the correct colour to "wear" one.
Is this a touch in job or a full fill and repray?
Your experience raises the question of how resistant to stone chipping the car is. I've picked up one or two minor chips but my impression is that the new car is more resistant to chipping than my 129 ever was.

the first thing i purchased for my 2003 sl and sl55 was a clear bra. they cover the front, part of the hood, lights, and mirrors etc with 3m clear plastic laminate. works great for stones etc. do not hesitate this looks great, polished with car and work great. my cl500 was a magnet for stones. do a internet search fro xpel .

I have heard some good remarks about the clear bra. I have a client who purchased a C32 AMG from me & he put a clear bra on his car. Has been very pleased with the application and protection it has provided.

you can't see the damn thing its clear. quit thinking about it and go and have one installed. your cars show you can somehow afford it. the longer you wait the more you may regret it.
clear bra
Check out Invisiblepatterns.com and you will be able to find a local installer. If you are in the Boston area you can check out my website at www.protectivesolution.com.
