I was looking at putting some brembo covers on my calipers but was sure how the whole spacer thing works? Would i need to do a 5mm or 10mm if i was going to add the covers? Does the covers even work for the sl500 calipers?ust trying to make the calipers look a little bit better than the 9yr old originals.

you would need to measure to allow sufficient room for the new caliper not to rub against the inside of the rim....More mm = wider tire stance as well. Also make sure you find hub centric spacers

so i would need wheel spacers and hub rings?

they can be one in the same...it needs to sit on the hub for safety and match the lug holes pattern...i personally would only go as wide as needed
