SL 550 Susceptible to Balance Shaft gear problems?
Was any year of the US SL550 susceptible to the same Balance Shaft gear problems that have plagued other 550/350 engines?

The sl550 doesn't have the balance shaft it has an idler gear, which is much more rare to wear than the balance shaft. I've never heard of an idler gear failure on a sl550
