SL55 v. SL500

Is the SL55 lower, meaning less ground clearance, than the SL 500 with Sport Package?

I'm pretty sure the SL55 is lower than compared with SL500 with Sport Package, just might be my mind set and the rims/tires.

Two SL55's and one of them has a MKB drop.

Why spend the money on the drop? It's barely noticeable in that photo.

I see the difference, I just think it's not enough of a difference for the amount of money that probably went into it. btw, it's more noticeable looking at the front bumpers or the spacing in the wheel wells.
