after loosing my wallet with my lexus credit card spare key, I would not want the keyless go option. Lose your wallet, a crook has everything he needs to get a new SL.

Your not mistaking pictures of the car you saw with this one are you?

I would hope the 2004 sport package does not come with those or these wheels.

In a perfect world the new 2004's would come with AMG styling IV's 2 piece.

I agree but at the cost of two-piece wheels it's not likely.

IF they change the design, it will be a one piece 18" rim.
Mercedes actually surveyed dealers on the interest in the 19" rim before releasing the SL55 to the US market. I guess the fear of reducing ride comfort won out

I believe the current S/CL55 twin spoke Style IV rim would look very nice on the SL with one exception; I miss the staggered look from the older AMG wheels that have a slightly deeper dish in the rear. It just gives it a bit more muscular, but still refined look without being in your face...

Just hop over to the dealer for a replacement or to reprogram the keys. Happened to us before, kind of. Lost a key!

Ditto, that's what Mercedes represents to me. SL55 for expample, powerful, but not raw brute force. It's refined with the 16 second drop-top and other luxurious items, unlike a Z8...
