Hi there everyone


I'm pretty new around here and am in need of some help

I need to replace my front bumper, it was curbed one too many times (not by me)

I'm told a new front bumper will cost around $1800 and that got me to consider "what about an aftermarket bumper/kit?"

I've been told by two body shops that an aftermarket will have fitment issues they tell me they've never had a kit fit right with the SL


This area isn't anywhere near my expertise/knowledge base so I thought I would ask the community is what I'm told true?

If that is so certainly there must be some brand of aftermarket bumper that would have no issues? or there would be some process to mold a bumper so that it would fit perfectly?



I'm in the Vancouver area btw so if there are any suggestions for shops locally to go to that would be wonderful.
