SRS Light came on today
Absolutely nothing different going on today - but after washing the car and making her look all pretty on Sunday - and a nice evening top down drive - everything was heaven.
This morning I go out to the car to leave for work, and upon starting her up, hearing her wonderful muffler free rumble - a light pops on and warning on the dash SRS - take the car to the workshop.
Car has 16,700 miles and it's a 2004. No warranty is effective on the car. Does MB fix anything to do with safety at any time in warranty or not? Just curious before I consider going to the dealer.
After some research on here and benzworld, looks like I might be well served to get a code reader. Rather than taking her to the Dealer.
Anyone here have this SRS light on - have an easy fix?
Anyone have a code reader with CarSoft 7.4? Here's one from ebay that I found - good idea?

Thanks for any input!!

I had a problem like that before, it was a sensor underneath the seats that connected to the airbags that was faulty,
If you take to to MB they will charge you like $150 just to diagnose it. I paid it, and it cost like $20 for the sensor.
