SL/R230: ABC problem

ABC problem
Hi, my friend has an 2003 sl500, from time to time only at idle the car go down and up at rear left, star diag gives the code:
C1531-004:"rear left suspension strut moves although locking valve is closed"
we flushed the system and changed the filter and also the valve but the problem persist, any thought?
