What is this?

I saw this car at internet site It's extremly cheap just 20k dollars..

but it marked as 2002 model what is that frame behind head..

I considering buy it it's cheaper 2/3 grand then other cars..

 

I assume you are referring to the roll bar. You can manually raise or lower it. In the lowered position, the cars computer measures the angle of the car and will raise it automatically if it appears the car is about to roll over. It will snap up in 10ths of a second.

 

Save a dollar now and spend 3 later is a good rule with these cars. You really want to check it out in detail before buying it. Don't just jump on the cheapest car you can find today.

And the car came out in 2002 in most of the world, just not until 2003 in the US.

SBC have many solution but ABC system is just change to new part ...

I hope buy this machine at autumn or winter.. Now I'm on some trials..

btw that bar is on all sl500 serise? or just 2002 model?

The roll bar is on all the cars, even the previous generation, I believe. Some people like to drive with it up, others down. But it is there on all of them as a standard sagety feature. It is related to roll over safety.

You can get the olders cars that cheap now, but they are usually pretty worn out. Just be careful.
