2008 SL550

Change stock radio

has anyone changed the factory head unit to any improved aftermarket radio?
The concern is with fiber optical hook up, dash and wheel controls. Plz, your thoughts...

Search this forum, there are a few posts on the subject.
You wolud have to say goodbye to wheel controls with any aftermarket solution.
I would suggest upgrading with OEM units.

Thanks, the OEMs are inferior to the market place, however I will study this topic and post any results...not ready to buy the 2012 just to get streaming.
