Linguatronic Language change?
Hi!
I have a 500 SL 2002 Mod 230, Linguatronic module Is included in the car, but it is talking German.
As I understand you need to change the module to an English one, to have it talking and understand English.
My question is, are there any modules from other MB model that can be used?
I will try to find one at the scrap yard but in Sweden there are not many 230 models to find at the scrap yard.
My second question is, where are this modul located in the car? And can a normal person swop this without any special tools?

Yes you can install this on your own. I did 
. I retro installed the whole phone and voice control system on my car. And I bought the module on eBay.
The part number is A203 820 0885. It is also used in CL and S Class models. Make sure you get the right one for D2B Fiber Optic system. It is black in color. DO NOT get the silver colored one. That one is for the newer MOST system that replaced the D2B system in 2005. Also get one that was manufactured from 2002 and above. The one in the attached picture below was manufactured June 05, 2002.
I see a bunch of them on eBay already, as I write. Do a search for "mercedes voice control" on eBay (without the quote marks).
