SL 500 R230
ABC/powersteering Pump Swap!!
Hi all
I own a 2003 SL500 R230 and it needs a new ABC Hydraulic Pump. I have located a new pump but it is off a later model! 2006 which has a sphere on top
i can buy it for 300 pounds and its only a short journey away!! The guy who is selling it has told me the doner vehicle had no suspension issues and was all working perfectly he said he can supply pipes as well if needed!! It looks to me like it will fit and i would definitely prefer to fit it as it is off a later model and maybe Mercedes had ironed out some of the issues with ABC on this model!!
Is there is anyone who could tell me if iam gonna have any issues if i fit this to my car or if it can be done at all i would really appreciate it!! I am in the vehicle repair trade! Iam a panel beater so i have got half an idea and these forums are a big help
