2004 SL500

rebuild shocks?

If anyone out there has an old shock from your SL, and is willing to send it to me, I will attempt to engineer a rebuild kit, which could potentially save us all thousands of dollars.

Damn, wish I had seen this earlier. I had mine changed out yesterday in NY for a remanufactured with a "claimed" lifetime warranty.

I have no direct experience with them. I know a few SL guys that have them and like them. I also know some E55/E63 guys that have the airmatic struts from Arnott. They are happy with them as well.

I figure either my SL or ML will need ABC or airmatic struts one of these days.
