2007 SL600 V12TT
Hello Everyone...new SL600 owner here!
I've been a lurker on this site for a few months now. Last month I purchased a 2007 SL600 that I am beyond thrilled with. Can't believe the massive power these things make! I decided, based on my research here, that my first mod was to bethe ECU tune...problem is that my ECU has been at the tuner for a week now. Andddd, I'm finding out that Fedex may have lost the package. Sooo- long story short- my car ain't fast no more

I got my tune thru Veloce. Good news is they were able to track down my package at Fedex. Finally received the ECU yesterday. I installed and tested it... Seems stronger but then at times it does not. It was heavy traffic in most parts of the city but I was able to open it up on the highway afew times. Sometimes at WOT it feels whickedly fast and other times not...I think I hit into turbo-lag alot because of the WOT in quick successive bursts. I will need to run this on a day we are traveling out of the city (manhattan)so I can say for sure. most likely this weekend.

Beast - I assume you didn't do a base line dyno? So most of your results are just experience and seat of the pants? Does it have a switch or reflash so you can test base tune versus performance? How about several settings based on gas ur using...BTW what gas are u using? Last - maybe get a DYNOLICIOUS on the Iphone if you have one, and use that as a monitor of performance. Not bad for cheap.
