I have a 2007 SL550 which I am seriously considering upgrading. I still love the car but it doesn't get driven long distances very much. On Christmas Day, I did take a 350 mile drive and both my wife and I thought the seats were very uncomfortable.

Any thoughts from you guys about how the new car may be different? Or is there no improvement?

I will go and test drive a new car this weekend, but short trips only give you so much information.
