Sl600 diff compared to sl55 amg diff

I have been thinking on changing the rear diff to give me better traction and control . Is it feasible to change it to a sl55 amg unit ? As this has a LSD ? If so then are they a matching unit fitment wise . If not then are there any other diff out there that would do the same job.

if your rear has the rear mounting bolts one at 3 o-clock and the other at 10 o-clock that is the Dodge charger and challenger set up. From the looks of it if the rear cover will interchange you could bolt it up you may have minor mods to do it, if you have a junkyard close by go by and look at it at a Dodge charger or challenger rear and see if it has the same mounting brackets is yours, you could also look at the SL 600 and see how it mounds good luck.

sl55 as a bushing on the front of the diff mounts up in the bracket in the car...

this one is for the sl600 ,,it looks like it would fit you may have to swap your back cover

ONLY in the 030 Perf optioned 55 AMG cars or if taken from SL65 v12 they are indeed ALL standard equipment LSD's vs 600's & regular 55's it was an OPTION on those models
