SL/R230: Help with Offset and spacer decision...
(Note that I'm lowered on lowering links)
So I've picked out the tires:
Toyo Proxes 4 Plus
Fronts: 255/30/20 (Stock is 255/40/18)
Rears: 295/25/20 (Stock is 285/35/18, so I'm going wider by 10mm, seems I can't go 305 since my rim is only 10" wide)
Wheels, I have two choices of offsets:
Fronts: 8.5x20 offset can be either +20 or +38 (stock is +30) (note that the supplier said they can mill them for 5mm more for me)
Rears 10x10 offset can be either +25 or +42 (stock is +33) (note that the supplier said they can mill them for 5mm more for me)
So my question is as follows:
Fronts:
1) if I get the +20, I'll stick out 10 mm more than stock
2) if I get the +38.. I'll stick in 8mm and can get spacers to bring it out to whatever spec I want after.
Rears:
1) if I get the +25 rims and 295 tires, I'll stick out 20mm more than stock.. risking it to stick out past the fender and/or rubbing.
2) if I get the +42 rims and 295 tires, again, I can get spacers to bring it out to whatever spec I want.
What would you do?
Any suggestion for cheap spacers?
I see everything from ebay $10 to $200 for them..

The width of the rims will sticks out on both sides. Like 10 inch is one inch sticks out on each side compare to 8.
Spacers..... Let me tell you. If you don't HAVE HAVE to use it, don't use it. If you gonna use it, DO NOT get cheap ones, it might cause unbalance problem, even make your wheels fall off... I personally will use H&R because it hub centric and quality is good, plus the lip is long and easy to fit the wheels, oh, lip is not tapered that's perfect
Also if you are getting concave rims... Lower offset will always concave more
