2003 SL 500... so somebody backed into my car and busted my headlight, and the best I can find is $850 online. Does anyone have a replacement headlight they'd sell? Drivers side.

Will S600 lights fit into the SL500 frame? How about any of the C-class lights?

No the S600 lights will not fit SL (R230) frame. The R230 lights are pretty tough to come by and sellers are unforgiven. Once I wanted to replace my passenger side headlight due to yellowing and haze. I eventually gave up and used one of those headlight restorer things, because the lights were practically impossible to find at a decent price.

Do you have Xenon or Bi-Xenon? Have you tried looking for the headlights at eBay? You can also try here:

i have a set of blacked out 2003 sl55 headlights for sale with custom leds installed also. come with ballasts for hid.

After a lot of searching I'm led to believe the Bi-Xenons (0 302 485 076) are a dime a dozen, I've found them ALL OVER eBay for $400. The ones I need, the Single-Xenons (0 302 485 078) are all but extinct. I found 1 on eBay for $650. Still looking. Are there MB junkyards in California that might have something like this? Anybody on the West Coast able to give me a phone number for a junkyard in San Diego or Los Angeles?

Here's an idea -- can I put a Bi-Xenon light in? Can I change the ballast (since mine still works!)?

OR there are a lot of "Bi-Xenon conversion kits" on eBay. Anybody ever try one?
