OK When I purchased my SL I decided to save a couple of bucks and did not purchase Parktronic. Now I wished I had bought it.
I checked with the MB dealer and they said it can not be installed after production.
Does anyone know otherwise?
I have a BMW also and the dealer can install BMW's park assist as a dealer option. I am surprised BMW can add it as a dealer installed option but MB can not.

Anything is possible with the right amount of $$$$.
Parktronic is only avaialble as a factory ordered option. However, if you wanted to order all the parts to retrofit your car, you can. If you wanted to install it or find someone that wanted to, the cost and labor charge/time would probably be prohibitive.
You would also need to have the area where the ParkTronic switch goes to be cut in order to mount the switch as well.
