I've searched the relevant threads and can't quite find the answer I am looking for.

Does the SL55 with AMG Performance Package ride differently (more harshly) than the SL55 without the 030 option? I ask because I really, really prefer cars with LSD, but this car will double duty as my wife's semi-dd, and I think she would be very happy with a SL550. I talked her into the SL55

2007-2008 vintage is what I am focused on. Found a nice 55, but now double thinking the LSD after I spanked my daily driver Porsche with LSD to work yesterday.

Ride is about the same. It's too heavy to be a track star, but it's a great road car. I drove my non-P030 2008 SL55 on street tires at Summit Point - fun in the straights, not so much fun in the tight turns. For about $1K you can get an aftermarket LSD for the SL55 - consider that if you can't find a P030 car.
