Hi there,

I currently own a C63 and I'm looking to buy an 03-05 SL class for my father. I unfortunately learned of these forums AFTER purchasing my own car which could have saved me a little bit of money. Anywho, it's why I am here now.

So as stated looking at an 03-05 SL. and I'm not sure WHAT to look for. In other words what I am really asking is:

1)Are there any major problems with these cars? (something that seems to happen frequently and how much does it cost to repair)
2) How is maintenance on them? I'm assuming expensive.
3) When looking at one to buy, are there any things I should look for in particular?
4) Is there a big difference on these cars from model year to model year.
5) ANYTHING I didn't ask but you can help with and feel I should know (anything will be greatly appreciated!)
